Susan M. Hughes, MD, FACS is a pioneer in facial cosmetic surgery and utilizes the most current and effective innovations. She is the oldest of seven children, all doctors, who followed in the footsteps of their physician parents.
Dr. Hughes is Harvard trained and among the most experienced and highly trained facial cosmetic surgeons in New Jersey. She has consistently been selected by her peers as a Philadelphia “Top Doc” in eyelid plastic surgery and facial cosmetic surgery in Philadelphia Magazine’s annual survey. In addition, she has also been recognized as a South Jersey “Top Doc” in Plastic Surgery.
She has taught in the Oculoplastic Department at Wills Eye Hospital for 24 years, and has her private office in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Dr. Hughes operates in her office based AAAHC certified operating room and at the Virtua Health Care System Hospitals.

Katherine (Katie) Cosimi, MSN, APN-C
Katie, our nurse injector, is a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional with over 10 years of experience in family medicine, acute care, and spinal cord rehab. She worked for 4 years as a nurse practitioner in a hospital setting specializing in cardiology. Along the way, Katie developed a passion for preventative and aesthetic medicine.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Rutgers University and her Master’s degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. She is a certified Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Katie possesses numerous medical certifications and is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Association of Critical Nurses.
Katie came to The Hughes Center from another Med Spa in New Jersey, where she provided injections, CoolSculpting, skin pen, and IV infusion services. She is certified in injector/filler, neurotoxin, Morpheus, CoolSculpting, and skin pen.
