Including Compounded and Off-Label Prescriptions | General Wellness and Anti-Aging Protocols
Nationwide Applicability | California Compliant | Telehealth Enabled
PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY
You are being evaluated for a medical treatment plan that may include one or more interventions aimed at improving general wellness, extending healthspan, and reducing risk of age-related decline. This may include:
– Hormonal optimization
– Nutraceuticals and prescription-grade supplements
– Lifestyle and behavioral counseling
– Anti-aging or regenerative therapies
– Prescription medications or compounded pharmaceuticals
These treatments are highly individualized and based on your medical history, lab results, provider recommendations, and stated goals.
You may be prescribed one or more medications or therapeutic agents to support your longevity plan. These may include, but are not limited to:
– Metformin
– NAD+ precursors (e.g., Nicotinamide Riboside)
– Rapamycin or mTOR inhibitors (off-label)
– Peptides (e.g., BPC-157, Thymosin Alpha/Beta, Epitalon)
– Bioidentical hormones (e.g., testosterone, estrogen, DHEA)
– Antioxidants or anti-inflammatory agents
– Compounded medications or injectables
Medications may be used to support cellular function, reduce inflammation, optimize hormone levels, and promote metabolic health.
Some prescribed medications may be compounded formulations, created by licensed U.S. pharmacies based on your individual treatment needs.
Please note:
– Compounded medications are not reviewed or approved by the FDA.
– These products are compounded in compliance with applicable U.S. pharmacy and state laws.
– All pharmacies used by DrWell are licensed and held to high safety and regulatory standards.
– DrWell is LegitScript certified to ensure safe, transparent, and lawful operation across telehealth and pharmacy services.
Certain therapies may be prescribed for uses not explicitly approved by the FDA, known as off-label use. This is a legal and common medical practice when supported by scientific literature or clinical judgment.
You understand that many longevity treatments fall under evolving areas of clinical research. While potential benefits exist, long-term outcomes may not be fully established. Your provider will make every effort to explain the rationale and evidence for any off-label use.
All medical treatments carry risks. Potential side effects and risks of longevity therapies may include, but are not limited to:
– Hormonal imbalances
– Injection site reactions or irritation
– Metabolic disturbances
– Gastrointestinal discomfort
– Allergic reactions
– Medication interactions
You will be monitored for efficacy and safety. Prompt communication with your provider about any concerns or side effects is critical.
While some patients report improvements in energy, focus, body composition, and vitality, no outcomes can be guaranteed. Results depend on individual response, adherence to treatment, and underlying health status.
This program is not a substitute for routine medical care or disease-specific treatment. You should continue seeing your primary care provider for general medical needs.
Your treatment may be provided using telehealth, which includes virtual video visits or digital consultation via secure messaging and form submissions.
You acknowledge:
