Dr. Wilfred Brown and Board-certified Nurse Practitioner Carolyn Brown have been in practice together at Brown Plastic Surgery & MedSpa since its inception in 1999. This long-term partnership provides a strong sense of familiarity and continuity to patient care, which contributes to the warm atmosphere in the office. They are both passionate about health and wellness and cognizant of how feeling confident and comfortable with one’s personal appearance contributes to an overall sense of well-being.
Brown Plastic Surgery & MedSpa specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body and well as non-surgical rejuvenation options including Botox, filler, laser services and skin care products and treatments. Credentials
Dr. Brown completed his medical training at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed six years of General Surgery training through Yale University and a two-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through Pennsylvania State University. He is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as a Board member of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Carolyn earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. She is Board-certified as an Adult-Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. As a Nurse Practitioner with an MBA, Carolyn’s unique blend of education, training and experience brings an additional layer of professionalism and expertise to the practice.
