Russel Palmer, MD

Dr. Russel Palmer was born and raised in New York City, where he attended Benjamin Cardozo High School, graduating at the age of 15. After graduation, he moved to Florida and attended the University of Miami, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. Palmer then attended the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and became the first graduate from the University of Miami to be accepted into a Harvard surgical residency program. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School where he was appointed and served as the surgical chief resident.

Following his time at Harvard, Dr. Palmer completed a plastic surgery residency at UCLA Medical Center. After his plastic surgery residency, Dr. Palmer completed a microsurgical and hand surgery fellowship and served as a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at UCLA. Dr. Palmer then moved to Hollywood, FL, where he started his private practice.
