Cashmere is a compounded topical cream that combines caffeine 1%, GHK-Cu 3%, and tretinoin 0.01% with niacinamide. It comes in a 30 gm pump bottle and is prepared by Strive Pharmacy.
It is a compounded medication. It is not FDA approved, and the FDA has not evaluated it for safety, effectiveness, or quality. A licensed provider decides whether it is appropriate for you.
Each ingredient is a separate active component applied to the skin. Tretinoin is a retinoid, GHK-Cu is a copper-binding peptide, caffeine is a stimulant applied topically, and niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3. Human evidence for topical GHK-Cu is limited. Your provider will explain where and how much to apply.
Because this is a custom formulation, your provider can adjust the prescription based on how your skin responds.
Your provider will tell you how and when to apply the cream and how long to use it before a follow-up. Topical retinoids commonly cause dryness, redness, and peeling in the first weeks, and your provider may start you on a lower frequency. Results vary from person to person, and no outcome is guaranteed.
Your prescription is filled by the compounding pharmacy and shipped to you with directions on the label.
Cashmere is prescribed by a licensed provider after an evaluation. It is not appropriate for everyone. It should not be used during pregnancy or while trying to become pregnant. Tell your provider about your full medical history, including skin conditions and any copper-related condition such as Wilson disease.
Common side effects of topical retinoids include skin dryness, redness, peeling, burning, stinging, and increased sensitivity to sunlight. Allergic reactions are possible.
Stop use and contact your provider if you develop a rash, swelling, severe irritation, or any unusual symptoms.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use if you are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Tretinoin carries risks to a developing fetus.
