Growing past your plan

A temporary increase in patients will not automatically move you into a higher plan. You upgrade only when your practice consistently outgrows your current patient capacity.
Upgrade only after sustained growth
Your practice moves to the next plan only after going over the patient number on your plan by 20% for two consecutive months. Upgrades prorate to your existing renewal date, and your commitment date does not reset.
How paused patients are counted
A paused subscription counts toward your active patient number, because your team is still managing that patient. The treatment plan stays open and the patient restarts without enrolling again.

Medication costs
Medication is charged at the pharmacy rate when a patient orders, with shipping already included in the quoted rate. The cost appears on the order before a provider submits it, so your margin is visible at the moment you prescribe rather than on an invoice three weeks later.
Transaction fees
Each patient payment collected through Connect carries your plan's platform service fee. Starter pays 3.90% plus $0.20, Growth pays 3.25% plus $0.20, and Accelerate and Apex pay 2.90% plus $0.20.
What DrWell never charges for

How much does Connect cost?
Connect starts at $2,999 a year, or $299 a month, for up to 15 active enrolled patients. Growth costs $3,999 a year, Accelerate costs $4,999 a year, and Apex costs $7,999 a year with unlimited active enrolled patients. Every plan includes unlimited users, locations and providers, and every plan runs on a 12 month commitment.
What counts as an active enrolled patient?
An active enrolled patient is a patient enrolled in a treatment plan your practice manages in Connect. A paused subscription still counts, because your staff still manages that patient. Staff logins, providers and locations are never counted, so hiring a second injector or opening a second location does not change your bill.
What is the platform service fee?
The platform service fee is the per transaction charge on patient payments collected through Connect. Starter pays 3.90% plus $0.20, Growth pays 3.25% plus $0.20, and Accelerate and Apex pay 2.90% plus $0.20. DrWell holds the merchant relationship, so your practice never applies for a high-risk account of its own.
Does the plan price include medication?
No. Medication is billed per order at the pharmacy rate, with shipping included in that rate. Connect shows the cost on the order before a provider submits it.
What happens if my program goes over the patient number on my plan?
Nothing happens for a short spike. Your practice moves up a plan only after going over the patient number on your plan by 20% for two consecutive months. Upgrades prorate to your existing renewal date and your commitment date does not reset.
Is there a setup or implementation fee?
No. Connect has no setup fee and no implementation project. Creating the account takes about 10 minutes, onboarding takes under 5 minutes, and enrolling your first patient takes under 1 minute.
Can my practice pay monthly instead of yearly?
Yes. Monthly pricing is $299 for Starter, $399 for Growth, $499 for Accelerate and $799 for Apex. Paying yearly saves about 16%. Both options carry the same 12 month commitment.
How can my practice pay for a Connect plan?
Connect accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus ACH bank transfer. Your practice can connect its bank account through Plaid to set up ACH. Every method works on both yearly and monthly billing.
Will DrWell market my practice and send me patients?
DrWell lists your practice and every provider you add on the DrWell Care Finder, included on every plan at no extra cost. DrWell also runs paid advertising that brings patients to the Care Finder, and that spend is a courtesy to the practices in our network rather than a line on your invoice. DrWell is not a marketing agency and does not guarantee leads, appointments or revenue. For advertising built around your own practice by name, the Dedicated Advertising Program is available as an opt-in under a separate agreement. Results from any advertising depend on several factors, including your local market and how quickly your team turns an inquiry into a consult and a consult into a paying patient.
What is the difference between the plans?
Four things change as the plans go up: how many patients you can have actively enrolled, the platform service fee rate, the support level, and dedicated onboarding. Dedicated onboarding is included on Accelerate and Apex. Every plan runs the same software, with unlimited users, locations and providers, and the full medication marketplace.
