Give patients a place to manage
the routine stuff themselves

CareOS gives patients one place to track medication orders, pause or manage a medication, update payment information and see what's next in their program. Your staff stays available for care, not routine account maintenance.

Track medication orders without calling
Pause one medication without stopping the rest
Update payment information without staff handling card numbers
See current program and upcoming shipment details

CareOS is included on every Connect plan.

Routine requests

Three routine requests your staff shouldn't have to manage

As enrollment grows, routine patient questions grow with it. CareOS gives patients a self-service path for the requests that do not need a staff member.

01
“Where is my medication?”
Today
Staff may have to find the order status and relay it back to the patient.
In CareOS
The patient sees the order status and tracking progression themselves, from submission through delivery.
02
“Can I pause my next shipment?”
Today
Staff has to receive the request, make the change and confirm it before the next cycle.
In CareOS
The patient can pause that medication for the next applicable cycle without cancelling the rest of the subscription.
03
“Can I update my card?”
Today
Staff becomes the middleman for a payment-method change.
In CareOS
The patient updates their own payment method without giving the card number to your front desk.

Order tracking

Let patients follow the medication without your staff opening a pharmacy portal

CareOS shows the patient where the order is in the process: submitted, sent to the pharmacy, shipped and delivered, with tracking when available. Your team sees the same order history in Connect.

Status updates and shipment notifications reach the patient as the order moves.
Each medication tracks on its own order cycle.
Practice and patient reference the same order history.

Pause and cancel

Let the patient pause one medication without disrupting the whole program

A stacked treatment plan should not require an all-or-nothing cancellation. CareOS lets the patient pause an individual medication for the applicable next cycle while other medications continue on their own schedules.

Pause or cancel one medication without stopping the others.
Changes apply to the applicable next cycle.
A paused medication can resume from its prior program state as supported by the treatment plan.
Payments

Let patients fix payment problems without a phone call

When a program payment fails, Connect can retry the charge and CareOS lets the patient update their payment method directly. Staff does not need to collect card details by phone just to keep the program moving.

Automatic retry workflow for declined program payments.
Patients update their own payment method.
Staff does not handle the card number for the update.

Program visibility

Give patients visibility into what's next

CareOS can keep routine program information visible to the patient, including medication status, upcoming shipment timing and other program details surfaced through Connect, so the first place they look does not have to be your front desk.

Current medication and status in one view.
Upcoming shipment timing without a phone call.
Program details pulled from Connect, not re-entered by staff.
Verification

Identity verification is built into the patient checkout experience

Before payment and medication ordering, Connect runs its identity-verification workflow. Most patients clear from the information they already entered. Additional ID and selfie verification can be requested when needed, with manual review available for permitted users at your practice. The patient completes verification in the same digital experience instead of creating another front-desk task.

What the practice gets

More patient self-service. Less routine program administration.

01
Fewer status lookups

Patients can see medication-order and shipment information themselves, so a tracking question does not have to start with a phone call to your front desk.

02
Fewer payment follow-ups

Patients can update payment information themselves while Connect handles the retry workflow, so a declined charge does not become a task someone has to chase.

03
Fewer routine change requests

Patients can manage supported medication pauses and see program information without asking staff to make every update.

Questions

The patient portal, answered

When does a medication pause take effect?

A pause applies on the next applicable payment cycle. Nothing is charged and nothing ships for that medication in the gap.

Can a patient pause one medication without affecting the others?

Yes. Each medication can have its own order cycle and its own state, so supported medications continue independently while one is paused.

Can patients update their own card?

Yes. CareOS lets patients replace their payment method themselves rather than giving the card number to practice staff.

What happens when a payment fails?

The charge can be retried automatically, the patient can update the payment method in the portal, and the order is held rather than immediately cancelled.

Which Connect plans include CareOS?

Every plan. The patient portal is not gated by Connect tier.
