Dr. Nathan Patterson embarked on his academic journey with a degree in chemistry from the prestigious Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama, graduating magna cum laude and earning a fellowship in the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He advanced his medical education at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Patterson’s rigorous general surgery training began at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL, and concluded at the distinguished Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, LA. He then honed his expertise in plastic surgery during his fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, collaborating with some of the world’s leading plastic, head & neck, and maxillofacial surgeons.
