Dr. Wilfred Brown and board-certified Nurse Practitioner Carolyn Brown have been in practice together at Brown Plastic Surgery & MedSpa since its inception in 1999. Dr. Brown completed his medical training at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed six years of General Surgery training through Yale University and a two-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through Pennsylvania State University.
He is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as a Board member of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons.
